Ellow.. my dearest friends today auntie Ming wanna tell you about my experience having lunch at after 3 kopitiam located somewhere near Padungan Kuching. Auntie is a bit lazy to take photo ya.. My hubby and parent-in-law had ordered laksa, deer meat rice and thai chicken rice. I had tasted the deer meat rice and thai chicken rice it tasted quite nice but I'm not sure got MSG or not k.. : ) Whereas I had ordered dim sum for lunch, I know that it's suppose to be treated as breakfast but I craved for that so I sacrify main course.
I had ordered har gao, siow bee and char siu pao and suppose I had make another order for bbq pork puff but it had been sold out. Suprisingly, the taste of the dim sum is really good probably the best I ever tasted in Kuching. The prawns inside the dim sum were all fresh and were in whole piece not minced. Wo.. Wo.. Wo..
But.. the drink they served were really so so.. I had ordered soya milk which costed RM 1.40. I would say that with this kind of price I do not expect something tasteless.. I hope they can improve that.. Other drinks ordered were wheat glass, teh si and milo.. look so so but I hv not taste them.. I think drinks were not the main focus for this kopitiam so nothing special to be mentioned. Dim Sum would be what I will recommend you to try up but don't compare it to west m'sia k.. Don't say auntie brag later.. : ) My sister-in-law in KL ever brought me to a famous dim sum restaurant in KL 'Fu San'. The dim sum they served were superb I do not know where it located you could probably search around the net or ask your friend.
Overall my visit to after 3 kopitiam were good perhap the boss was around to monitor. Initially I am a bit hesistant to visit them after hearing some comments that their services were poor and slow but my curiousity over power me to give it a try. ; ) I hope they can keep their service like that regardless boss around or not.
