Amazing God - Testimony From My Sister

Fw: My testimony that I want to share with you.(From both Frederick & I)

This is a testimony that I want to share with you all about a miracle that Frederick and I experienced. We have been trying to conceive, to start a family and yet did not fall pregnant. Time flies and we start to ask questions and were saddened by this fact. Eventually we started to go and seek medical advice. I had to go through numerous tests, and still many unknown. So in February this year, we decided to go for the ultimate test (most advance technology I was told) test, which is laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, which we were told it will identify issues such as endometriosis, condition of the uterus and most important fallopian tube condition. As we had other tests and appeared normal and the reason why I undertake this surgery thinking that everything can be fixed if I had minor endometriosis it can be dealt with straight away in surgery. Or if the tubes are block, it will be unblocked. That’s was our understanding.

I am really naïve, expecting I will conceive once I have done the test. However, the outcome of the surgery is that both of my tubes are blocked. We asked the doctor whether there is any way to unblock it. She said there is no other way except through IVF. Then we asked the questions, how much the tube is blocked. Is there any procedure that we can take to unblock the tubes? She told us that the chances of fixing the tube is very very low because even if something can be done to unblock the tube, there are chances that the tube will be block again, and there are high risk of baby growing in the tube. If the block is at the beginning of the tube, which is inside the uterus, the risk is very high because if something goes wrong, the doctor may need to remove the entire uterus. When I heard the news my heart sank. We are really useless and hopeless. We can’t do anything. The question of why kept popping up.

Thank God for His love and comfort and carried us through this matter. Everything fell into places. We booked the Hong Kong one year in advance and the trip was three weeks after the surgery. The trip really helped me and us to recover from all the worries and sadness. Thank God that Frederick kept insisting and wanting to know how much is the blockage, being more rational. Additionally, we were wanting to seek a second opinion and so we went to another specialist about our situation. We showed him the results from the previous surgery. He said that the tubes look blocked too and quite certain as well. And said the only way to have baby with blocked tube is through IVF. He has indicated that IVF is not an easy road to go, better check the tube again. In fact we insisted to test the tube again through Levovist a dye test through the tube rather than keyhole surgery, which most people would take this route first before surgery. Because of facing another disappointment, I delayed the test plus we got very busy with work and year end. Thank God that he had led us and continue to keep us strong as a couple.

We started to pray more earnestly and consistently knowing even though everything seem to be impossible and so hard, yet we believe that nothing is impossible in God. We believe God can unblock my tube as our God is almighty God as long as he is willing and his will for sure my tube can be cured and unblocked. We really have no doubt of what God can do, but the only thing is that we don’t know if God will, whether or not God is willing to cure me in this instance. After reading on the cases for the barren women in the bible I realised, God performance miracle to glory His own name and I promised God that if the test shown that my tube is not blocked, I will testified His mercy on me to other people. We continue to pray earnestly for God’s healing.

Finally, I arranged the appointment to do the Levovist dye test on 18/8/2011. Of course still very nervous and when we went to the ultrasound room, we told the ladies our concern and what we actually wanted to find out in this session. The girl seem to be puzzled a bit of our request, and said that she think that the result or requirement that we want may not be what they usually perform in this test, and said she will consulted the gynea who was outside the room. I really got nervous. Will they base on the previous result and become a bit bias and said it’s blocked without taking seriously the test? Because Frederick needed to change car parking, he left me alone in the room temporarily. I prayed to God to guide me through this, give me wisdom to know what to ask and calm my emotion down and lead me. Because I really don’t know what to ask.

Thank God, when the gynea came, I felt God’s peace was with me, I listened to the gynea’s explanation. She told us that even we found out where the tube is block and how much is blocked it really doesn’t help much. Coz the solution is only IVF. Not positive at all.

But we went through the test the levovist dye to see if the dye will flow through the tubes to the ovary. They started with the ultrasound and to them everything seen to be so normal to them. Then they started the levovist test. The gynea tried so many times to put the ‘stroll’ into the cervix and failed. It was really uncomfortable and painful. I prayed to God and seek God help and ask God to let me bear the pain and that HE will take control of procedure. Because the gynea still could not successfully insert ‘stroll’ into the cervix, she said she will do it for last time, if she couldn’t success she will have to abandon the test. Thanks to God that His timing will not be wrong. For that last time, the ‘stroll’ managed to insert into my cervix. Then they started to inject the dye into my uterus. My heart was pumping. Thank God that the gynea said to their surprise, the dye passed through to my ovary for both sides. She was really convinced that my tubes are not blocked. Thanks to God that the gynea and the ultrasound girl did not give up and keep helping. They were so happy to know the result too. The gynea said you are lucky and she usually will not try again after so many trials. Both Frederick and I fell into tear knowing that God is so awesome and listened to our prayers. For so many times, the previous two doctors were so definite and confirmed that the tubes were blocked. God opened the tubes for us and cured me. He has shown his mercy on us. He is in control. How great and awesome is our creator. May God’s name be glorified and our faith had been strengthened through this miraculous experience.
